Hi, I’m Karenza!
I’m a Mental Health Occupational Therapist with 13 years of clinical mental health experience (LOAPAC endorsed). I’m proudly autistic, a mother and advocate. I have worked across private and public mental health hospitals, community mental health, and private practice, as well as teaching at the university level. I am incredibly passionate about neuro-affirming practice and supporting the mental health of autistic people and families.
I created the Self-Compassion for Autistic Parents program because:
Many autistic parents in therapy have benefited from learning more about self-compassion.
Self-compassion is a deep interest of mine! It has been a meaningful part of my personal and professional life for many years.
Connecting with other autistic parents who truly understand our experiences can be profoundly validating.
