What’s included?
A 10-session program with a different guided practice each week, designed for those who struggle to remember to practice, enjoy body-doubling with others, or simply want to deepen their understanding.
Prior knowledge of basic self-compassion principles is recommended. This could come from working with a therapist, personal research, reading The Neuro-Affirming Self-Compassion Workbook, or participating in the Self-Compassion for Autistic Parents group program.
Hi, I’m Karenza!
I’m a Mental Health Occupational Therapist with 13 years of clinical mental health experience (LOAPAC endorsed). I’m proudly autistic, a mother and advocate. I have worked across private and public mental health hospitals, community mental health, and private practice, as well as teaching at the university level. I am incredibly passionate about neuro-affirming practice and supporting the mental health of autistic people and families.
Why I created Guided Self-Compassion Practice Sessions:
Practice! Research shows that the more we practice self-compassion, the easier and more natural it becomes.
It has been designed for people who may find it difficult to remember to practice or enjoy body-doubling with others.
Research indicates that self-compassion is strongly associated with psychological well-being.

60-minute sessions (online)
Approximate total cost 10-week program: $517.30
Please note: Fees may vary in accordance with with NDIS price guide, as the session fee is divided by the number of group participants. The cost above is based on a group of 10 participants. Additional costs, such as session notes are included in the total.
